The Second Revision Meeting of The Technical Guidelines ( Electric Bicycle ) for Export Commodities Was Held In Suzhou

On June 21, 2024, the China Bicycle Association organized the second revision meeting of the Technical Guidelines for Exporting Bicycle Electric Bicycles (hereinafter referred to as the "Export Commodity Guidelines"). The meeting invited representatives from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products, Industry Expert Advisory Committee, Standards, Testing and Key Enterprises to attend. The meeting was chaired by Song Bo from the Industry Development Department of the China Association for the Betterment and Progress of China

At the meeting, experts conducted a serious analysis of the international market situation, engaged in heated discussions around the framework of export commodity guidelines, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the classification of export products, data citation, and revision of key markets.
Yang Tong, Deputy Secretary General of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products, pointed out that this revision has been eight years since the last one, and the industry has developed rapidly in the past eight years. It is suggested that this version of the Export Commodity Guide should timely incorporate the successful experience of bicycle and Electric Bicycle products in international market competition, inspection and certification, market access requirements, and other aspects.

This meeting received strong support from Bafang Electric (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. During the meeting, experts visited the production process of Electric Bikes using Ebike Motor, including processing, assembly, and testing, and gained a deeper understanding of the product manufacturing and quality control of Bafang Company.
